Article Submissions
We are always happy to consider articles for publication on this site. Here is what we look for: Articles should be related to the hospitality industry, preferably with examples drawn from restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs or bars. Publication on this site is a great way to reach a wide variety of industry professionals.
Articles should focus on 'how to do it' rather than more general 'what to do' pieces. There is plenty of general advice available on the internet, but practical tips on 'how to implement' is of most value to our readers. Check the titles and direction of articles already published to see the direction we favour.
Articles can be very specific eg 'how to train staff in red wine appreciation' or be more general eg '10 ways to cut kitchen maintenance costs' or 'improving bar staff motivation'.
More general 'state of the industry' or 'what's wrong with the world' articles will be reviewed, but are not a priority for readers.
Articles should be 500-1000 words in length. Longer is possible but may be divided into two sections for publication. International (UK) English or American English spelling is acceptable. Please submit articles in Word format.
Articles may have appeared elsewhere in print or on the internet. They should be your original work.
We may edit articles for length or clarity and will ask for your final approval of any changes.
Please let us know how you wish to be acknowledged at the end of the article. This may include your website or email link.
To get started, please send me an email with your article.
