Gordon Ramsay on TV in Australia

The bad boy of restaurant business in the UK and the USA.

His Kitchen Nightmares is already top-rating in the US and UK: now there are plans for an Australian TV show on Channel 9 in 2008.

It's a follow-on from Channel 9's Chopping Block with Matt Moran and Gordon Grant, when eight Sydney and eight Melbourne restaurants fought for cash, and even the winners lost their reputation.

This week's restaurants
Nottingham's Curry Lounge - proud of the association with Mr Ramsay.

Hamspshire's The Granary looks like they are still keeping it local and very British.

Your say on the right !@!%&* language for TV...
The Senate inquiry into 'The effectiveness of the broadcasting codes of practice' ie the 'Ramsay Inquiry' is still taking submissions, and you can read what's already been sent in. Channel 9 is not impressed...
